It's because they're stats whores. He doesn't have a ton of sacks that's all they're looking at.

Yea you would think that they actually you know...watch games...If Odrrick was facing RTs all game long he would have more...but he is a run stuffer against LT's...he is not quick enough to beat those LT's

I don't play Madden...I think the last Madden game I had was 2008 and it sucked so I stopped playing them but I have noticed in these posts that Odrick keeps going down. I wonder if the people that set the Madden ratings use PFF to adjust the players cause Odrick has been one of the worst rated DEs in a 4-3 defense according to PFF.
I thought I remembered reading somewhere that they do utilize PFF, but if that were true, Pouncey would be a good deal better than an 86.

Yup, I have wondered that too...and to be honest I think they use it..which is mad lazy to me...you would think they would have someone watching each game..

Yeah Pouncey should be in the 90's but I guess it would depend on where they have all the other Centers rated as well. He may be the top rated Center in the game but it just looks low next to everyone else.

Yea they think he is Elite..but generally speaking they will keep raising him...They never really raise ppl a whole lot week to week...usually just one or two points..I think his brother is like an 87 or 88 and most think he is the 2nd best center in the league...

Which ratings? Madden or PFF? I think PFF has him rated as the 2nd best Center in the NFL.

    Re: Madden Dolphin ratings increase

Some big time jumps. The only negative with Madden doing weekly updates is if someone doesn't have a big week on the stat line they go down guaranteed.
