I felt Moore and really that Pat Devlin should have been the starter, but by that unwritten rule, I felt Moore earned the job last year, so he should have been the starter by default.

I just don't understand how we draft a rookie wide/receiver QB and somehow pressure him to be our savior and learn on the job.

I was satisfied Moore's performance last year.

Had Moore started and we lost, then I feel it promotes Tannehills success.

If we win, well we want to make sure Tannehill gets well.

In other words, the Dolphins had every excuse to start Moore and save face.

Now we have a QB controversy as someone predicted earlier in week.

You don't have a clue what you are talking about if you think there is a QB controversy after that game by Tannehill.......

This thread is a joke and lacks foresight. He's a rookie QB who came up a yard short. Let the kid take some lumps. Learn to be a smarter fan please.

Okay I will give you that argument, but we got our answer today.

We could have won this game today, if Tannehill makes the big plays.

I see what you're saying, you invest all this money, so lets see what we have. But personally I feel it could have the opposite affect.

That's why this defeat was so hard on me today. I got the answer.

I will try to enjoy the rest of the season, but we're not going anywhere.

We lost 2 games in OT, games we should have won and we lost this game, when we had the opportunity to close it out.

We have now started a "pattern" now, one that can be measured.

We need our defense to bail us out, because our offense can't.

If you seriously think there is a QB controversy, your on cloud 9. Tannehill was drafted and given the keys to the car. Period.

Now, why would MIA start Tannehill year 1? Because since 2008, if you are drafted in the first round as a QB...YOU START. Period. Teams no longer have the luxury to sit and wait. MIA and the new HC staff knew they were hitched to Tannehill. You find out in 2012 what you have, not in 2014. You let your QB learn on the job. Not on the bench.

Moore is 1-0 Tannehill is 3-4 and simply does not have the experience or the skill to win the close games.
This is sarcasm right? If its not

I would have been a lot happier if Tannehill threw for 100 yards and we won the game.

    Yards mean nothing to me.

Marino threw for a lot of yards and TD's what did that mean...? Yes, its exciting great football.

I believe all Marino's records have been broken now, because we live in a pass first run second era.

But was does personal records mean anyway?

The Dolphins 1972 season is great, because it was a team effort. Now this you take to the bank.

I'm just down because I felt there was some hope this season, but it was burst today like a balloon.

I'm now going to just relax and appreciate the season as it goes on, but I feel in my heart this team is not making the playoffs this season.
