Why is Romney wearing a purple tie? Was that supposed to be a mix of red and blue, like a "I'm a uniter" thing?

Probably did it just so that people would read into the underlying reason he chose that color...

Absolutely no bridging or calling for unity.

It is almost like he took a victory speech and changed a little bit.
It was almost defiant.

Romney should have end his concession with a few bars of "America the Beautiful". I think he owed us that.

During McCain's speech I was pretty emotional It was a beautiful speech. This was garbage.

Romney looks pissed, and like he's been crying a bit. Rushing through his concession. I don't blame him. A wrenching moment.

He is rushing through it, but you know....im a bit impressed. Hes surprisingly upbeat. Undoubtably a gut wrenching moment but he handled it well all things considered.

Granted, if this was Santorum there i would have expected a call to violence, but still, thought Romney handled it well.

Clearly im the minority. I think its because i had such little expectation for Romney that its a surprise to me.

Unmuted the tv for Romneys speech, and now Fox News is bringing up Clintons second speech as a bar that Obama has to hit.
