Better off moving to NC (I may be, sick of Florida, grew up here born and raised). I haven't checked the laws in Denver via norml.org, but Arizona where it is "legal" or "decriminalized" the penalties are worse off than in NC. You can possess up to 10 lbs in NC and get "up to" one year. Not to mention NC doesn't have the budget to send choppers (this is just coming from the guy at the headshop, but seems to ring true).

Check out Florida, lol. It's sad. I'm sure the Feds will find a way to **** with people. Too much money being lost.

Like any self-sustaining entity would, they'll try and fight the legalization process happening across the country till the bitter end. If not, they can't justify having the DEA be the size it is currently, or receive the funding it currently does. The illegality of cannabis is the lynch-pin that keeps the DEA afloat.

This is definitely true. Oddly enough, there never seems to be heroin busts.
