This being repeated does not make it true. Long's actually struggled run blocking way more often this year then he has in previous years. At least, according to PFF

CP does make a fair point in Bush dancing more than last year, and I blame that on the zone blocking scheme not having the right fits. Last year Long and Cog were VG in getting a push and Bush followed their lead with VG results. This year, they are moving more sideways, and Bush is waiting for an opening, which is not happening.

Why is Jake Long a misfit? Some may question his value, considering his high cost. His form appears to have deteriorated this season particularly in the last 2 games but that doesn't make him a complete misfit. I wouldn't be surprised if he played brilliantly tonight.

I used the word "misfit" to refer to not fitting into the zone blocking scheme, NOT as a shot at Big Jake, who I really like.
