Logo change comments from Marino, Griese

Hey guys, I've seen it. I'm not allowed to say where or how, but I have. Quote me on this when it's released, but what I can tell you is:

1) The helmet is gone
2) the Dolphins is facing the other way
3) The colors are different. Shade wise.

I love a helmetless dolphin, but why on earth would the dolphin face the other way? I don't think that would make much sense. It definitely wouldn't be in keeping with tradition. Most logos read from left to right because that's how Americans read things, unlike those in Asian cultures who read from right to left.

You would only know the Dolphin was facing the other way if you saw the logo on a helmet...

Maybe he saw the logo on one of those knock-off ebay jerseys and thought it was our new logo. No way it faces backwards. That wouldn't make any sense. No helmet on the dolphin, though. That is believable and great to hear!!!!

I'm all for it. Just like I was all for Hard Knocks. New generation, new logo, new attitude. It is well past due with Miami and a uniform/logo tweak re-design.

Let me reitereate, the ONLY way he could know if the dolphin was facing the other way is if he saw the logo applied to a helmet....remember our current logo has to be reversed to look correct on both sides of the helmet, so if he just saw a standalone logo, that wouldn't be proof of anything...
