Good article. He looks at the game film & analyzed it & he doesn't think he played as bad as his numbers looked. I'm a big believer in Tannehill & although he didn't play great it's part of the game & he will get better.

"He saw blitzes coming and went to his second read".

Wasn't there a thread earlier this week that stated the Titans never blitzed once throughout the whole game? How did Ryan see them coming?

    Overall though good article.

They blitzed only 10 times in 40 pass attempts.

Correct. It might have seemed like more, but only because the offensive line was playing like jello.

With the way our O-line was playing, I thought they were blitzing almost every down.

they didn't blitz becasue they knew if they gave tannehill time with more coverage those WR would not be able to break free and it would end up in forced throws.

If i know a team has 2 recievers with 1 useless TE i'd keep everone in coverage and wait until the QB forces things. Not sure hwy it took teams 8 games to figure that one out but hey, it also took teams 17 games to figure out how easy it was to defend pennington, just defend the middle and make him go outside wiht his lack of arm strength.

How do you know it's not also partially that Tanny can't yet beat the kind of coverage they thru at him?

Asking a lot of a rookie to throw to a WR corp that can't get open. How we didn't upgrade in the offseason is mind boggling. All on Ireland here.

There is only so much that can be done. This was not going to be a playoff season. We have 5 draft picks in the 1st 3 rounds next year. We will get the holes filled in to help. Also the offseason could bring us a few good players. I am so tired of hearing the Ireland crap. It's getting old now.
