According to the official game books from the last two weeks, only nine of Tannehill’s 78 pass attempts were considered “deep.” According to the website Pro Football Focus, only five of the attempts actually traveled more than 19 yards in the air, and he completed only one for 35 yards. On Sunday, Tannehill’s longest completion was 17 yards.

On the season, Tannehill is tied for 18th among quarterbacks with three passes of 40-plus yards, and tied for 23rd with 22 passes of 20-plus yards.

Agreed, Long ball accuracy is way overrated. Passing TD's is what make this league go and right now Tannehill is last amoung starting QB's wirth only 5.

    way over rated stat.

I bet if you add a Mike Wallace type player it will sky rocket upwards
    1. Sign Mike Wallace
    2. Resign Smith, Hartline, Starks, & Fasano.
    3. Draft CB Rd. 1
    4. Draft FS & "Seam Threat" TE Rd. 2
    5. Draft WR & DE Rd. 3
    6. Draft LB

Your right to bad it hasn't. He did his job by throwing a deep ball that the reciever could catch. Is it also his job to run the ball after the catch? Dont blame him for the sh*tty slow recievers on this team.

You mean the same receivers that helped him pass for over 400 yards vs. Arizona? Again, everyone is so quick to give him all the credit and none of the blame.
