I'm on the fence. I hated the pick when we made it, thought the Houston game showed that I was right, but was turned around by his play, but the show he's put on in the last couple of games has me worried again. I'm not ready to give up on the guy but think perhaps if things don't improve over the rest of the season then we may not have solved our QB problem after all.

If Geno Smith or Barkley are available we need to draft them. Can't risk it....Tannehill has not looked like an NFL starter.
You lost all credibility with those 2 names.. Unreal

Houston game? Lol way to judge a franchise rookie off his first game. Yeah he lost his first game so hes going to be a big time bust. CMON GUYS GO GOOGLE PEYTON MANNING!

Tannehill is currently the 5th best rookie QB. He has the rest of the season to turn things around....or else it is time to look elsewhere. Rookie or not, he has looked flat out bad and severely regressed.

again, it's hard to win games as a rookie when you have ZERO help to throw to, and your "star" RB suddenly has turned to trash.

Looking like **** against playoff contenders is one thing; but Tannehill has played horrible QB against crap NFl defenses. Indy, Tennessee, and Buffalo are about as bad as NFL defenses get, and RT couldn't do jack sh!t against any of them.

Tannehill has the worst supporting cast in the NFL. You'd be hard pressed to find a QB who would succeed with this trash rolled that is rolled out every week

Did you read my post ? Or did you just stop at Houston game. I said I didn't like the pick in the first place and after a game where he showed one glaring issue he had had in college, it seemed to confirm it was a bad pick to me. But I said he turned me around with his play after that. Read full posts before jumping on someone's comments. Or just STF"U, since that appears to be your way of conversing.

Mark Sanchez lit up the Bills and Colts. Yea, we could have better targets, but with how bad the competition has been that excuse doesn't cut it.

Kids a rookie. We were never supposed to do anything this year with the players we have and him being a rookie. We have no Wallace of the steelers to stretch zones. Every team plays under becasue we throw under hence no deep threats. We have good complimentary recievers to a deep threat number 1 yeah. Also Rookie QBS always suck 99% of time (look at sanchez he went as rookie to east championship and now he sucks) this year means absolutely nothing. We still have sporanos guys. Give philbin some drafts to fix his defense and get his guys in. Tannehill needs all xp points at this point so next year he isint shaken up by any new looks or 2 min offense to win game. So stop hating on the kid. This team will look 80% dif next year with all of philbins guys and sporanos OUT!

Totally agree with the OP. Tanne has no, and I mean NO weapons. No speed no playmakers no seam tight end no one! Quit rippin the kid it's not him. Plus this pathetic offense doesn't help. Here's our offense...bush left for two yds, hartline comeback for 3 yds, 3rd down incomplete. That was the whole first half. Our biggest play of the game--Rishard Matthews gets behind his man and draws a long int penalty. HINT THERE! Trying to throw deep to Bess is a pick. Tried it twice and had 2 picks. I like Bess but he's not a deep threat. Let's accept it, Bush is gone, Fasano gone and maybe Long. We need lots of playmakers and then the kid will look like an NFL QB.
