    Mathews and Bess

Due to living in the heart of evil (New England), I hadn't had a chance to see the Fins play until last night, so I won't comment on all the controversial stuff. I thought Mathews looked good. He forced the flagrant interefence call by beating his man. I gather he hasn't played much. Given our total inability to stretch the field, shouldn't he be starting? And why on earth are we trying to throw deep passes to slow-as-molasses Bess?

What interesting, I believe it was the same play design. We went deep to Bess twice and went deep to Matthews once! Guess which receiver had the better success and likely why?

bess gets off the line quick but clearly lacks long speed and has short legs...i think the fins need to turn bess to a rb next year or get rid of him cause he's not letting other pure wr's play for the last couple of years.

That's as brilliant of an idea as the Zach Thomas to Safety idea we had about 6 years ago.

Are you nuts? Bess is one of the best, most relieable handed receiver in the league. He's one a few quality players we have.

So from what you know of Bess, what in the world makes you think he can break tackles like a RB?
I believe any man's finest hour - his greatest fulfillment to all he holds dear, is that moment when he has worked his heart out in a good cause and lies exhausted on the field of battle...Victorious

Bess should only play in the slot. Great slot receiver. But if we have a 2 WR formation, and Bess is one of those WRs, the defense can just stack the line, and not worry about Bess threatening deep.

Same here. I live 15min away from the stadium. I have been watching the games via a site and will get to go to the last game of the year this season.
