Reference the below - I know he was only in for a handful of plays, but I really liked how he moved.. he came off the line strong, routes were good - and as Philbin said below, I really do think he looked like he belonged.

Really hope this results in more opportunities for Matthews - let's see what he has.

"He looked like he belonged out there," Philbin said. "He did some good things. Hopefully he can continue to develop, but he earned the opportunity to play in the game. Some of these guys, you watch them in practice and you see them make catches and plays, and he deserved to be in the game."
