Marino in 9 games had 20 touchdowns six interceptions 2200 yards, Tannehill going into his 11th game? 6 touchdowns. 11 INT's and still hasn't passed Marino in yards.

I like Tannehill and all but really, this isn't an achievement.

Marino also didnt have the worst wrs in the league and a pass blocking TE and a line that cant create any type of run game no comparison IMHO!

Positive is good but if people are looking for straws to find a positive and using incompatible comparisons it looks a little awkward.

i.e. Tannehill/Manning: manning had more INTs. When mentioned he also had more TDs and yards its all the receivers.
i.e. Tannehill/Marino: comparing 9 games to 11 plus games is screwing with the stats

I put the lack of offense more on the coaching staff then Tannehill. They need to come out in 3WR sets on first down to mix it up. No one is fooled by trying to force Reggie up the middle on first and second down.

Now it's all the coaches. 3WR set? I can point to a gazillion posts stating that we have substandard receivers. What difference does it make if we put 2, 3, 4 or 5 receivers out there. We just multiplying the 'garbage'. Or am I wrong?
