Pee Wee vs FA Mark Anderson?

I wanted to sign Mark Anderson (Pats) as a FA to compliment Wake as a pass rusher. Buff gave him a lot of money, and I was OK with passing on him but knew Odrick would struggle.

Of 63 DE's in a 4-3, Pee Wee is tied for #61. Guess who he is tied with? Yep, Mark Anderson. Anyone else who wanted him?

I wanted Anderson as well, but Buff did give him quite a bit of money andddd he is hurt, I cant hate on Oddrick too much, he gets put on the best pass protector througtout a game then gets put inside on passing downs...

aye he was on my FA list until the bills paid him
    a four-year, $19.5 million contract. !!!
odrich i have been really disappointed with!
and i dont know a return to DT next year will make much difference ??
i sure hope he dosent start and we let starks leave thinking odrich could replace him

imo his no where near starks level of player

It is a part of what I am saying. Normally, a 3-4 DE can move inside to DT. However, Odrick was not very good last year, as a 3-4 DE, and is a waste at DE this year. He is average vs the run, and would like to see much more of Vernon and Shelby.

I'm also saying that the FA option, in Anderson, has been a bust, who I thought would be a solution. For me. Ireland breaks even here.

Odrick is playing out if position.. He's a 4-3 Dt.. Pass rushing is not his forte

Odrick is no threat as a pass rush in our base 4-3. In all passing situations or Nickel packages, Vernonr and Misi play opposite Wake.

Odrick get a solid pass rush when lined up inside at DT. Mark Anderson has really struggled and now we know why NE let him go.

Odrick is miles ahead as a 4-3 DT then when he's a 3-4 DE

That's not true. Odrick has played little at DT, and OV and Misi have played sparingly, especially in the first 5 games. Pee Wee has 624 snaps this year, 218 vs the run, 394 on a pass rush, and 12 in coverage, and that's from his 4-3 DE position. Vernon has only played 279 snaps, with many coming in the last 5 games.
