Dan Mullen's name mentioned for Colorado. Rumors are he doesn't think he can do much more at Miss State. But probably a play to get more money. Mike MacIntyre also is in play.

Rod Carey who was the OC under Doeren at NIU, has been promoted full time to head coach. He was gonna coach the bowl game either way.

    Willie Taggert officially USF coach

Texas Tech's top 3 choices are A&M OC and former Tech QB Kliff Kingsbury, Clemson OC Chad Morris, and new Call HC and former Tech assisstant/Player/coaches son Sonny Dykes. Dykes isn't happening now. Fanbase REALLY wants Kingsbury.

    Bobby Patrino to Western Kentucky

Pittsburgh Steelers OL Coach Sean Kugler named UTEP head coach. Kugler played football for the miners. His son is a 5* OL committed to Michigan

Mike MacIntyre confirmed as Colorado head coach

Petrino to WKU. WKU's first game next season is versus UK in Nashville. That will be a fun one for sure. Petrino LOVES beating UK. Not only beating them but grounding them to dust.

Texas OC, Bryan Harsin is now the Arkansas State head coach. Harsin was seen as an up and coming coach while at Boise State. His stay at Texas is said to be filled with tension but that had a lot to do with how the program is currently ran

That's a good fit. LA Tech doesn't like accepting bowl bids and Skip Holtz can't get a team to a bowl. Win-win.

Yeah Tubs to Cincy seems like a backwards move. Definitely a head-scratcher.

And anyone to Colorado is a backwards move as well. Nobody wants to coach there. Very, VERY bad program sitting in the middle of a recruiting wasteland. They can't recruit the kids from California like they used to in the 90s.

Hawkins got some good recruits there in his short time, he just couldn't coach them up. Darrell Scott, Jon Major, Nick Kasa, and Lynn Katoa were all 5* guys. Colorado's problem is they are broke.

As for Tubbs, turns out he and his wife never liked Lubbock and made no secret about the fact. Tommy just really wanted to get back into coaching and went after a job that had been consistently good. But the last 2 years he was actively campaigning for other open jobs
