If by lottery you mean a high ping pong ball type of NBA draft pick, then yes you are correct. There is no lottery picks in the NFL. Although it would be a fantastic idea because that would stop the Colts from landing the greatest QB prospects of all time every time one comes out.

Yes LOL I mean draft pick don't care about the NFL anymore the fins have not won a thing or played for anything in my lifetime.

I always want the Fins to win. I hated the "Suck for Luck" Campaign. You play and cheer for your team to be productive. If this team goes 7-9 or 8-8 all I would say is WOW! I thought we would win 3-5 games. It would mean great coaching and players developing. It would also give me hope for next year.
BTW, the draft is not that great. I bet you find just as good value 10-17 as you would in the top 10. Just a guess.
Let's get a few more wins and keep the progression going.
Technically we can, is it likely to happen? no, but still possible if the pats have a meltdown and miami goes a winning streak like early in the season. we are 3 games behind them, there is 5 games left, plenty of time.

I agree that right now we may have some mediocre players, but as far our QB not being elite it is way too early to tell....let's wait and see, shall we?
