And as crazy as this sounds and as Bajarona as it makes me just thinking about it, doubling up on the guard position makes come sense as Well.

CK, we currently pick at #11, which should help us out a bit.

Realistically, we could drop 1 or 2 of the last 3 games....so could sloidify somewhere close to that spot.
If things turn south, we could pick closer to 8.
This may make a difference as we go through the rounds, especialy if the QB's start marching up the boards (as I believe the recent success of the freshman QB's will dictate).
Bottom line is that, if Tanny is indeed the answer, and I believe he is.....this draft is the draft that will determine the fate of teh franchise for the next 5 years.
Bazinga.

Considering we have Wake and Vernon (assuming we let Starks go and move Odrick inside), does it make sense to double up on DE? I would rather get one premier DE to go alongside Wake and have Vernon come in as a rotational end / run stopper.

The double-up doesn't necessarily have to be the same position. They could get a guy like Dee Milliner in the 1st and Elam in the 2nd.. That's a corner and a safety... doubling up on the secondary (not necessarily by a particular "position") and securing 50% of your starters there...
or doubling up by means of WR and TE... raising up the ability of the receiving targets tremendously (The good dynamic TE's nowadays are just taller and bigger WR's anyhow). By let''s say drafting Keenan Allen, and with all the 2nd's and 3rd's Miami has they can use some of that ammo to get back into the 1st round for Tyler Eifert.
Let's hope Miami continues to lose out so that 2a pick in the 2nd round can be a Top-8 pick making such a move easier and less risky to make.
IMO we need to double up early (im talking 1st and 2nd rd.) at WR. Not only to help us out outside but to help Tannehill develop
There is just awesome talent there. I do wonder how low Rogers will drop due to character concerns, but he reminds me of Terrell Owens.

It's always hard for me to evaluate the offensive linemen. What guards do you think fit this scheme that could be had 3rd round or later? You are right, we need two players there although we might be able to get by for another year with John Jerry.
