The Patriots winning the division every year, winning three Super Bowls, and building a dynasty, that is elite. The Cowboys of the '90s, they were elite. The Walsh 49ers, the 72-73 Dolphins, the Steel Curtain, those were elite teams.

A couple of road playoff wins after backing in to the postseason and then getting clowned on in the championship games does not an elite team make.

we don't have an elite franchise, we were an elite team '09 & '10 but those types of teams have been very rare for us, even rare for you guys since the mid 80s.

Dont forget the current Giants. That is an elite team. Especially considering how tough it is to win multiple Super Bowls in a small time frame with today's NFL structure.

Phins with the undefeated team, back to back SB titles, and 3 SB trips in a row
Steelers with the curtain
9ers of the 80s
Cowboys of the 90s
Patriots with Belichick/Brady
Current Giants.................................

All elite.

NY Jets....... complete opposite of elite. Never have been elite, never will be.

so your double our apps has to do w/ now even though you have made it once since 2002 but our 2 playoff apps in the last 3 seasons isn't now?

Oh this must be the part of the story when you tell us all that your definition of the word "Elite" is differen't than everyone else in the football watching world. I got news for you pal, there have been teams that actually won the Super Bowl that wouldn't be considered elite.

a team that is one of the last 4 standing in the league is elite, you would think you would knowthat after the whooping we gave the team you pretend to like.
