Player Any chance of getting Greg Jennings in FA?

This would be a HUGE FA acquision if we could acquire it. Jennings, Hartline, and Bess would be a very deadly receiver core (we could even draft that receiver Ryan Swope from Texas A & M since he played with Tannehill for years).

    Have you guys heard anything?

he is going to be very expensive. We are better off finding out WRs in the draft, that way we can resign our players. Long- starks- smith - hartline i think shoud all be resigned if we want to keep progressing. If we let jake long go all your doing is creating another big hole on this team. He is struggling but he is still solid.

Not if we're looking for a number 1 WR to start next year. Our offense is mediocre at best and we need to upgrade it badly and since when are we good at drafting skill positions?

Jennings, Bowe and Mike Wallace could be free agents. All will be looking for big money. Out of them I would lean towards Mike Wallace since he is the speed we need.
It is odd that I got this name in 2004 and it is still relevant to this day. Prove me wrong TS!

your competeting with 20 other franchises for there services, its a bidding war for any of them, build threw the draft and i actually think ireland has been solid since philbin arrived with drafting. Philbin advice has helped out alot.

Philbin has been here for one draft, and the majority of them haven't done anything. They all look like they will be long term projects. We need an offensive weapon that can start NOW. Justin Blackmon (drafted 4th overall), for example, has taken the majority of the season to even do anything of relevance- and he was very esteemed going into last years draft.

Drafting a receiver and hoping they can contribute from Day one is risky. FA may be the best way to get a fast fix on offense.

mike wallace is a RFA anyway... so I already say no to that.

we'll need to be smart with the acquisitions this offseason.. one bad move and we can easily regress...

It's a definite possibility. While Wallace seems likely to be franchised again, there have been repeated rumblings that Greg Jennings will be allowed to test the market.
Me say come, Mister Fisher man, show me da contract
Daylight come and Jake Long go home

An' it's six mil, seven mil, eight mil bunch
Daylight come and Jake Long go home

I'd make Jennings THE priority this offseason.
