    Guys the problem was he sent them all home early! He didn't even have them courtside at teh game wit the team. Danny Green is not an old veteran. There was no excuse for him not to be at Least courtside for the game. Pop is a great coach and I agree wit resting players but they played the wizards the game before I believe.. why not rest them for that game. He knew exactly what he was doing and was essentially conceding the last game of the road trip which unfortunately for him happend to be against the Miami Heat.

    The Spurs were in Orlando the night before and the Heat game was their 5th in 7 nights and all were on the road (6 game road trip). The Heat on the other hand had played 2 games in the previous 11 days, both at home.

    Unless its later revealed that Pops pulled a "Pete Rose" - how in the hell is it any of the League's business how a 4 Time Champion & Coach of the Year chooses to manage his team?

    Its almost like the commissioner of the league thinks its his job to represent the owners and ensure they receive maximum return on their investment. Kinda strange isn't it?

    Oh you right, It was Orlando and it was a lot of games in a short time however, every team goes through that at least one time in the season. Yes, the League should not have scheduled the Heat for the Spurs on the last game of that stretch that was bad decision making. It's very easy to take Pops side on this one but playing Devil's Advocate I can see how the Commish would get upset as I'm sure some viewers changed the channel and we all know its about the TV deals.

    PS Danny Green has no business being sent home to rest. He was not injured and is in his 20s. Timmy, Parker and Ginobli no problem but Danny Green... Cmon Man
