people keep thinking moore is this good QB because he was solid when playing last portion of season... he played with more talent on offense back then. He looked horrible in preseason. not bad, horrible. he did play good in relief against the jets but the jets defense is very bad. Even if he would have gotten us another win or two, its more important to DEVELOP your qb of the future. take the groing pains this year of a rookie QB, and tannehill will make a lot more strides for next year.

Nah, Tannehill is obviously better than Moore otherwise Moore would have won the starting job. With that being said common sense suggests we would certainly have less wins. Probably looking at 3-9. Blame Ireland for getting rid of Brandon Marshall, who will be in another PB this season, for getting rid of the only WR threat we had.

No doubt in my mind we have at least two more wins, maybe three if Moore was our starter throughout. That would put us at 7-5 or 8-4 in a weak AFC. Im not saying we would be in the super bowl, but maybe a playoff appearance and a win is feasible. That may mean nothing to some of you, but considering our complete lack of achievment in recent history, meaningful games in late December into January would be nice for a change.

P.S. I like Tannehill. Just want to see what people think of this.

Moore is a back up. Yes he had a good ending last year but what about the first three games he played and lost. The guy is a back up why do people keep insisting on bringing him up. Look at his track record before the fins. Moore is not good.

everybody cried about not having a franchise qb,now we have one and you want to replace him with the guy you wanted to upgrade from.RT is learning on the run he will be fine.Maybe Moore would have won a few more games this year but were we really going anywhere?why not use the year to develop our talent, now is the time for miller,Egnew,Samuda,Matthews to get a chance and see what we got, If we tank the rest while developing our team and end up with a higher draft spot,Going into year we new it was a learning curve yet everybody still bitches.seriously debatihg vip status hopefully the iq is higher.

Hahahhahahha moore would blow with this offensive.. i rather have tannehill play this season instead of maybe getting to like 8-8 with moore at best and that would have been waste

I won't say playoffs, but Matt Moore definitely would not of miss those throws today. Very rarely last year did he miss Wide Open Receivers. Oh well! Everybody screamed for a franchise QB, we have to deal with the growing pains that come with one, point blank!
    In Ireland I Trust!!

I agree with the OP, we would have made the playoffs with MOoRE. MOoRE pass rush, MOoRE help in the secondary, MOoRE probowl WRs, MOoRE time for RT to mature, and MOoRE fans willing to give RT a chance to become who he will be.

I commend you for being able to admit that. 90% of the site could never do it, Tannehill is still the future but Moore probably makes those wide open throws.

Moore would have thrown 5 picks in this game.
