Playoff team with Moore

Eli Manning had a rough couple of years but the coaches new he was the right guy. give Thill a chance. All growing pains. Moore has had his chance in the NFL as a QB and obviously he is not the guy that will take you to the promise land. I'm not sure Thill is, but I think there is enough eveidence to warrant a chance.

Matt Moore threw 16 tds to 9 inteceptions last year. Tannehill is on pace to throw 9 tds and16 interceptions. Hmm, I think that it is very reasonable to believe that the dolphins would have a much better win loss record if Moore had started. Moores QB rating was 87.1, Tannehill is 72.3

I'm not saying Matt Moore is great, but we've lost some games bc Tanne missed wide open guys or made terrible mistakes. In other words, average qb play would have won us a few games. I think Moore proved in the Jets game that he can make routine plays when they're there.

I agree, it totally takes the pressure off Tannehill and protects him in the long run. Let's assume Matt Moore plays at a high level, we have more options available to us.

If Matt Moore would have struggled or goes down early on, then you bring in a Ryan Tannehill.

I never really understood the need to rush him.

Remember the great John Elway struggled early on.

I am of the old school, Matt Moore earned it last year and if you're going to say Tannehill earned it in preseason, I'd have to say when, at what point?

Some guys play better when the games really count and if the philosophy is Tannehill is our future, and will be lucky to win 3 games this year, then why throw him to the wolves so early on?

Aikman also struggled his first year. Thank god neither of these guys were fin Qbs, they would have never made it.

Well I would hardly call 11/19 for 131 yds destroying them. Remember the special teams won that game for us.

Matt Moore is a good QB in this league, and he will be the starter for some team next year, but it won't be here. Remember the reason why Matt Moore wasn't given the starting role was because he is not a good fit for the WCO. Its that simple. So to say that he would have delivered us to a playoff birth is a bit of a stretch. This isn't Brian Daboll's offense where he was the perfect fit, this is Joe Philbins.

How long did you expect? Last year he was calling everyone an idiot that didn't want to trade a first round pick for Carson Palmer. Two years ago we were all idiots for not wanting to draft Ryan Mallett. He is the Incarcerated Bob of Finheaven, he throws more sh*t against the wall then anyone else and throws it in your face when something sticks.

WR dont make QB's. QB's make WR's. Look at Luck, even though he has Wayne, Wayne was pretty much unheard of last year because he had no one to throw to him. Look at Welker going to NE. Look at Wallace's production or lack of since Roth went down with the injury. Would it be nice to have a big WR threat to complement Tanne... of course, but Tanne needs to show he can work with what he's got. PPL keep saying our receivers are garbage and Tanne has no real threat, and in the same threat say we have the best slot receiver in the game. Our receivers are GOOD ppl, we just need that one BIG deep threat. But Hartline and Bess are most certainly a servicable WR group. Both are on track to break a thousand yards this year. And if Tanne hit Hartline yesterday ppl would be singing a different song. The fact is Tanne is growing this year and will have his growing pains for sure. I think he will be good but his lack of playing experience is showing. Luck and RG III played QB all four years and were so NFL ready. Tanne played what... 16 games as a QB???? And if you ask me, he is doing a pretty damn good job with what he's got. Anyone thinking this was a playoff team was smoking crack. I want the team to win as bad as anyone else but we all knew it wasnt gonna happen. The good thing is he is getting that experience we need him to have... ehich will work out next year. Moore, would only get a worse draft pick. As far as im concerned, we should lose out the rest of the season.

Aren't Hartline & Bess having the best seasons of their careers they should have 1000 yards each, I guess they throw the ball to each other and RT has nothing to do with it.
If you think Moore is the one then you are a gifted talent evaluator cause 31 general managers thought he wasn't good enough, I guess Ireland agrees with you.

Matt Moore did this when the season was lost, how well did Luck do against the Pats tell me please, the game was close because Brady was ****ting the bed, he missed open receivers the score could have been at least 2 touchdowns more.

yeah we probably are still playing for a playoff spot with moore.I was hoping for a little more production from the kid at this point.like all dolphin fans im not giving up on him yet though.
