Someone came into the back parking lot where myself and city/county law enforcement park. Dude threatens an officer and then take him down right outside of my office. Half the lot is a crime scene. Zero parking. Insanity.

Walk up to a police station and threaten violence. Bold strategy. Did not go as planned for the dead guy.

Apparently he came at a city officer and threw a baseball at him. County officer seen this and came over to help out. That's when he reached into his pocket for a weapon. They told him to stand down and put his hands up. He pulled his hands from his pocket with the glue gun and they fired on him.

My parents have called me literally every day since I got back in the states. They called me this morning...I was in class so I ignored it. Figured Id call them back tonight. After the 3rd missed call, a voicemail, and a facebook message saying "CALL" I figured something was going on so I dropped what I was doing and called. Same old inane bull****, plus I had to listen to a speech about how Im "impossible to contact" despite the fact that they call me every day. I dont even...

Sorry that I dont feel like dropping everything Im doing in the middle of the afternoon to talk to you guys about my day. My mom had/has anxiety issues and thats the guilt trip dad throws on me now. I dont want her to freak out, but if shes getting that worked up because she hasnt heard from me in like 18 hours, I just cant help that. Its like she automatically assumes I died if I dont answer their call right away because Im eating dinner with people or in class or over at someones place. Its bull****.

I suppose it beats them not giving a ****, but its annoying. Whats weird is that my freshman year they probably called once a week.
