The flip side to that is that a #1 type WR sees plenty of opportunity in Miami and a young QB who can sling it.
yeah and it's Miami. THE place to be if your young and rich. Ireland isnt enough to keep away everyone. I could see Wallace coming here, Jennings as well. Not sure which one Id choose. Probably Jennings.

    Give Jake Long: 2 Years @ $12M - $7M Guaranteed

He has two years to get it in gear and play for the team that paid him nearly $100M.

Yes, aqua and orange glasses, because who wouldn't take the money from another team willing to pay $10M a year.

I like the analysis...it's too early to assign names of free agents or draft picks but I agree with the list of players that need to go and the ones that should stay. Jake Long is the toughest one to make a decision on...if he agrees to a reasonable one year deal I would do it or a modest deal that pays him right tackle money...maybe that's where he ends up at RT.

Shayne Skov would start on this team before the season ended. Groom him to replace Dansby. Or get Khaseem Greene to replace Burnett when he hangs it up.

And I would expect Jorvorskie Lane to have strong competition in camp next season. He's big as hell but cannot pound the rock and is no use receiving out of the backfield except to end the careers of scrub DBs during pre-season.

Miami has been a cluster fluk for the past 10 years. It is going to take some time to build stability and attract players.
I am sure that Ross will stick with Philbin through thick and thin. He will get it turned around in short order once Ireland is cut loose and we hire a capable GM..
Ireland already has vultures circling him..he is gone IMHO.
well we may just have been bad the last 10 years but i have seen many of teams go from worst to first in a season.we have also seen some franchises turn there loosing ways into winning ways.Lions for one even though this year has been tough, bengals, falcons, colts, bears and many teams have gone in the other directions as well.so what im trying to say is any team any sunday any season can make a turn around from the past
