It's easy to figure out. The people making the line saw us play last week. And maybe the oddsmakers know that the same ref crew who did us (literally) last week will be doing the san fran game too.

I think you are talking about "Bodog" Which is a different company now I think called Bovada due to the issues with playing poker in the US online. If you search online sports betting you can find links and sites that provide you what you are looking for. You can research which one best fits your needs from there.

It's a mixture of -10 and -10.5. Most places down to -10. Total is 39 so that's a projection of 24.5 to 14.5.

That's what the power ratings suggested, a spread near 10. Every number is derived from power ratings and home field, not situational influence. That's why it's often successful to use situational influence as a guide toward whether the number is high or low.

Traveling west is not as much of a detriment as the other way. I don't have an angle on this game that jumps out at me. When Smith was the quarterback I was looking at the 49er side, maybe first half. He was averaging 8 yards per attempt and 70% completions. Figured to grind us out. Subjectively I'd prefer to face Kaepernick from a Dolphins' point of view. More dispersion than with Smith. Kaepernick might blow us out or struggle to put up much of anything. Essentially two rookie quarterbacks and giving double digits. That would give me pause. I'd rather take the Eagles and get lucky on a punt return with 30 seconds remaining. That's the way I pull out bets, rescuing ones that rightfully should have been cupcakes. It's a sickening sickening trend, I tell you. I wanted to bet Columbus over Killian big but nobody dealt it.

Money line is basically -550 and +425. I've seen +450. Dolphins, not Columbus.

I never realized that going west-to-east has a bigger weight than going east-to-west. Nor did I know that situationals never play into it. Thanks for that.

Vegas is trying to get money bet on the Fins which should bring it down. i am curious what the money line is. Regardless, it's the second longest road trip in the NFL against arguably the best defense in the game. The Dolphins historically have struggled on the West Coast so I can fore see at score in the area of 17-6 or even 14-3. Its not a lack of respect but a reality as to the difference in quality of the teams.

Actually it works the other way. If Casinos are trying to get money bet on the fins they raise the point spread. If they want more money bet on the 49ers they lower the spread. The casinos goal is to get equal money bet on both teams so they can take 10 cents for ever $1.10 bet...a guaranteed win (as long as point spread doesn't change and the game doesn't result in a tie with the spread factored in).

iYou are both right. If more money comes in on Miami the spread would come down. I don't think it is an unreasonable number. Of course I hope for the best but it will be a tough game and a long trip.
