Research on fluorides usefulness to prevent and even reverse tooth decay is well documented. In the UK it is used to reverse or stop a lot of cavities that are routinely "drilled and filled" in the states. Levels of fluoride in the drinking water are very low when you compare the levels required to cause the negative side effects. It's like Tylenol, two pills fixes a head aches, two bottles will kill you.
