Not only did Chad not step up to the opportunity given to him, he also got in to trouble with the law. The decision to get rid of him was a simple one.
Regardless of his ability cutting him was in my opinion the beginning of a so far questionable season for philben. at first i was all about changing the culture of the team like they did in Tampa bay. but you can't be inconsistent, if your gonna release a receiver for a personality disorder ( Marshall ) and cut chad for his problems then cut this other bum too. like at least them to could have contributed any dolphin fan would have love to seen Marshall, johnson, hartline, bess as our starting receiving core. Philben needs to make up his mind about how he wants to run this team, cause i can tel you right now, doing one thing to one guy and not to the other is not gonna work.
Philbin and the rest of the NFL are making an example of Johnson, showing that domestic violence on your wife of less than two months will not be tolerated. Or maybe he just doesn't catch footballs like he used to, not sure.
damn this dude still hasnt let this go yet??? must still be madd because he hasnt found a new job yet. Lets face it, this clown though he was going to be allowed to be a clown down here, but philbin warned him at training camp that it was not acceptable. At that point he was on his last strike, the arrest pushed it over the edge and it was over after that. The fact that he still hasnt let this go yet says he has some serious sour grapes with miami and joe philbin.
forgive me, but didn't the report go that the cab ride began acrimoniously, with the hack saying he didn't wanna go into Weston? one can almost point to where he went attitudinally during the ride, which resulted in The Chokedown.
now… didn't 85 headbutt a woman? wasn't there a Twitter issue? and when did Amaya's "f-bomb” filled press convo happen??

Everyone makes mistake, its HIS personal business, He messed up. he's working on getting better, he is taking classes. he will get another chance and i hope he succeeds.
