Man the more I think about it I just don't see Philbin's logic here. He is not consistant in the image he is portraying. He cuts one guy for lets face it, personality issues, cuts another for getting in trouble, keeps one that gets in trouble, benches Reggie when he fumbles once but not Thomas when he fumbles, and sits our best players on the team during a crucial game and calls it a breather to keep em fresh... man I loved this guy when he got here but I just can't understand this? He is sending all kinds of mixed messages and I really wonder how the players truly feel about him so far. I hate to say it but Chad's being mad about this is justified... if this other guy is still on the team that is

LOL....I dont see any mixed messages at all...It's called running a tight ship...like it or not some successful coaches use this method and it works..The Thomas / Reggie thing has more or to do with Reggie isn't a second year player and the message he sent to Reggie will stick in any RB's head when they are the number one.Reggie is the # 1 and (Thomas # 2/second year player) it really isnt that hard to figure out.

Johnson would have disappointed this year that is why I am not worried about.

I think Joe has made some strange and inconsistent decisions this year, but this one does not bother me because I never thought Johnson could play in the first place.

Chad Johnson has been in trouble and caused issues NUMEROUS times. This isn't his first rodeo. He's just not very bright. This dope makes poor decisions daily and wonders why people won't give him a chance.

I was thinking the same thing...accept it was not the arrest...it means he cannot play.

Thats most likely the answer. He dropped passes in he preseason and in practice. The arrest was an excuse to cut him, not the reason.

This interview IMO helped Chad some,it showed he could handle confrontation more than some figured. He's still is a bit defensive. Now that Plaxico is signed,chad will be next.But just glad not in Miami.

Philbin cut him cause the guy's a self center jerk. He couldn't even to an interview without droping the F bomb with every other word. He just wants attention all the time and Philbin wants players that are willing to be a part of the team. That's why Marshal is gone too. Those are guys that think everything is about them.
