That was a long time ago but it seems like only yesterday. Hard to believe we've been this bad for so long. The 80's when the Dolphins were good a metal rule. Now you have NE and stupid rap and hip hop(can't even understand what the heck they're saying). We need to get back to the America we knew. Dolhins winning hard rock!!

    Ozzy rules!!

I remember watching this game live. I was in the 6th grade and this game was played on a Saturday because I just got home from Saturday morning basketball to watch it.

As a fan of the Fins since 1970, i enjoyed every second of those years.
Watching Nat Moore catch passes in the back field and taking them for long yardage makes a case for keeping Reggie Bush around. He has the same elusiveness but with much greater speed. He should be used as a 3rd down back and get a few catches in the slot in every game. Also, we are lacking size combined with speed in the RB department.
That 1985 team, if playing in the AFC this year would be beating the Pats and running the table.

    Thats kinda backwards.

Roby was an all pro punter, one of the greatest punters to play the game.
He would hit the scoreboards in indoor stadiums with his booming punts to create hang time.
Fields is good too, but not at Roby's level. IMHO

I had to work that day also. But we had a Tv at work. Rememeber watching 21-3 to start out. It didn't look good.
But with marino at QB we were never out of a game. Then he pulled another miracle.

The same team that started sluggishly showed up agaisnt the Patriots and was demolished the week later.

The crowd noise was remarkable back then. Home field meant something if you were coming to Miami. I remember that game. I was young but I remember it.

I know that is why the post I responded that is backwards. Fields is like a white Roby.

This was actually my first ever game. My grandparents took me to this game via fan bus. I remember it vividly...

    Old Orange Bowl
Bus parked in someone's front yard and part of the deal was we got a free rib each.
Sat on the south side upper deck.
Game was a little depressing going into 3rd quarter. If I remember correctly, it was 21-3 when we ran off 21 straight points.
