The crazy thing is how crappy the picture was back then. How great would it be to see Dan play in HiDef? Having never been to an actual Dolphins game (My uncle from south FL indoctrinated me), it would have been nice. Every time I watch one of Marino's games, I'm always amazed at how well he saw the field and how quick and decisive he was when a receiver came open. What offense did Miami run in the 80's? Air Coryell?
Yeah..they should remaster the Marino games like they did with the original series star trek...new sound effects, a laser cannon on his shoulder, jets on duper's feet...LOL

It is a shame that they don't allow some of this older material to be posted, especially since they don't host it on nfl.com as part of NFL rewind. Maybe they will in the future though. I pay for rewind and its great to see full games from as far back as 2010, but it would be awesome to watch full games from the 70s and 80s.

    EDIT:

LOL, I just logged into my Youtube account and I got a takedown notice for a video clip of Tannehill throwing ONE pass to Hartline. Wow, they are serious.
I know what you mean. I'm hesitant to upload anything recent if it's related to the NFL or Olympics. It's just asking for a zap, if not a channel closure.

There is some old stuff on YouTube that seems to go undisturbed. I guess the league doesn't want full games from decades ago, particularly if it was a famous game. There is a 2 minute clip of Dolphins/Raiders from the AFC Championship Game in 1973. Gowdy and DeRogatis on the call for NBC. IMO, that game was the absolute apex of the Dolphin franchise to this point. It was an incredibly confident team with players at their peak. Miami played better in that game than against the Vikings in the Super Bowl a couple of weeks later.
