FA 2013 free agent cornerbacks, who shoud we target?

    Sheldon Brown-no way
    Cedric Griffin-no
    Chris Houston-possible, emerging solid corner
    Brent Grimes-yes if healthy
    Quentin Jammer-no, too old
    Marcus Trufant-no, too old
    Keenan Lewis-intriguing
Rashean Mathis-if healthy its possible but he is declining
Tracy Porter- yes but cant seem to stay healthy
    Domonique-Rodgers Cromartie-yes absolutely

This is a pretty solid list of CB's. I would love to go after cromartie and have him smith and marshall next year. Im sure some of these guys will stay with their current teams. Either way the cb position needs to be addressed but who knows what ireland will do.

    Forgot DRC.

IMO this years CB class is solid all around. No "superstar" CB's coming out but atleast 7-8 CB's that should be starting caliber. Rather just draft a CB in 2nd or 3rd round. Maybe double up and pick up another CB in 6th or so.

Jimmy Wilson needs to be moved back to safety he is not cutting it at CB playing off on every play and getting destroyed on quick slant routes.

Keep Smith, Marshall and Carroll. Scrap the rest.

I don't think we should be getting our hopes up for free agency, it's not a priority with this regime

I don't think Cromartie would want to come play for us after being a Jet for so long, but who knows. Grimes is the only other one I'd want, granted he can come back healthy from his injury.

The rest are old or extremely average

This doesn't matter. Y Bell, J Taylor both ended up in New York. Thurman Thomas came to Miami. I don't think it matters that much. Plus I don't think he's been a Jet all that long, 3-4 years?

True, it probably has only been a couple years. I know it seems weird in this day and age, but some players have that pride... Zach Thomas. However, I'm sure Cromartie will go wherever the green flows the most
