We have positions like WR, CB, FS that are huge NEEDS. LB would be nice to upgrade but isn't on the level WR CB FS, and even pass rusher. I would take the BPA that is a position of need, unless someone amazing falls into your lap. I mean if you trade down in the first to pick up another 3rd and Teo fell to later in the round, (which is going to happen) then maybe you couldn't turn him down, but if we stay at the same position, you have to take the BPA at a position of need.

I add "at a position of need" because you don't take the BPA just because he is the best. If a GREAT Center, DT, RB, or punter falls to 13 you don't take him, because we don't need him.

If we are picking at #13 overall then I have a feeling guys like Manti Te'o, Bjoern Werner, Anthony Barr (if he comes out) and Matt Elam will already be gone.

Not a great year year for WR's, may want to fill that one with a FA... Pass rusher #1, just because at #13 there will not be the "outstanding" playmaker available, IMHO. WR, TE with #2 and 1st #3. Who ever said "great year for WR's" is sorely mis-guided.

Ty Eifert/TE Notre Dame… we're silly stupid if we don't, cause Bill Belchick will.

Scoring 19 points a game and you have a top 13 prospect, You take someone that will make a quick impact in that spot, hate to say it but a TE or RB might be the best option if Philbin thinks he can get some 2nd Round Wide receiver help.. Lattimore or Eifert it is.

    but im no Gm.

I am pretty far out of the loop on this years draft class, but unless there is an automatic corner or tackle on the board, we need a receiver.

13 is too late for werner thats for sure. Eifert definately comes into play there.
Keenan allen is in the mix there.

A few other edge rushers could be around, but damn i want werner.
