I think you might be on to something. We may be better off if Dee runs the draft and Ireland designs the logo. That idea is so good, I may start a thread seeking everyone's idea of what Ireland's redesign would look like.

I appreciate the hard work Pasquale, thanks. This one is essentially a recoloring of the current logo with the retro sun. That would be OK, but I prefer the current sun version to all the previous ones and any of the new mocks I've seen. The lean angry dolphin from the OP's post is gone rather than reworked, so I think this is more of a retro-mash-up than most people are hoping to find. I think the consensus for an updated logo primarily revolved around having the lean angry dolpin. What people took exception to primarily seemed to be the coloration (e.g. the orange bottom definition and not enough aqua). The other thing people didn't seem to care for in the OP was the sun.

Thanks for the work, but IMHO you were closer to nailing it with your previous tweak.
Excellent job! It references the right amount of tradition and yet feels new... For everyone complaining about the blue in the sun if you look closely you can see it is unbalanced and actually gives the sun dimension... Almost a 3D effect... very well thought out and designed...

The logo has the sun but no helmet on the Dolphin. Dolphin looks kinda like a whale but more graphic than cartoony.

My source works with Nike and has seen the uniforms too. I was told no orange alternate but nothing else about the jerseys.

It looks nothing like anything I've seen online. The Dolphin bends in a different way from the logo. I don't like it but I don't hate it.
