I have been depressed lately as a Fins fan. However, after reading this article and the words coming from one of the best analysts in the business, I have gained some hope. This weekend will be tough on RT, but try as we must, we got to look at the bigger picture. I am guilty of not doing that as well.

Dilfer is one of the best in the industry at assessing QB play. This is good stuff to read, folks.

The key is to continue over the next few years to keep hammering away with RT and keep on track with the ups and downs until he establishes himself.

Thanks for posting Hayden. I enjoyed the article and I am willing to ride the ups and downs with RT and hope that he develops into that "rock star".

There is not enough solid analysis going on like that comes from Dilfer, Jaws and NFLN playbook show.

Too much garbage from the Omar Kelly's, Greg Stoda's and Skip Bayless's.

Tannehill has been great and has surpassed all expectations. So he didnt beat the Pats woop de do. The future is bright for this kid. Some people on here need to wise up.

he's got another shot in a couple weeks, however, it's not like many Rookie QBs have beaten the pats in december this last decade.

The only thing I do not get is his lack of TDs...what is it, 6 now 80% done with the season? This is why I want to add Mike Wallace and a 1st round receiver.

I think Dilfer is right, premature to write Tannehill off because he has had some bad games.

We will see, the only for certain thing we know is that it is too early to come to any judgements at this time. Get the man a few more weapons, a more consistent oline and more games under his belt and then we can analyze this further. I will say I think I have seen more good than bad from Tannehill this season and that is something I was not expecting so he is on the right path.
