Especially one who won a Super Bowl.
Exactly. So forgive me if I dismiss the opinions of dozens of Finheaven trolls who never even strapped on a helmet in their lives!

It's much better to get this kind of feedback from somebody who actually played the position.
Then you should never post on this site again.

    Neither have you!! Hypocrite!

You're just parroting sports personalities who happen to agree with your position on the subject. BIG surprise. If Dilfer said Tanny was a bum, you'd instantly start talking about how poor of a QB Dilfer was and that he doesn't know what he's talking about because of it. Don't even begin to say you wouldn't.

Dilfer: Tannehill will be a "rock star"

I think the biggest thing missing on Finheaven is the fact that criticizing Tannehill and giving up on Tannehill are not even close to the same thing. Posters here only see the 2 as exactly the same thing. I've been critical of Tannehill and praised him as well. I'm not even close to giving up on him. If these 2 things could just be separated there would be better QB debates instead of the stays quo.

Poster 1: Tannehill missed some easy throws.

Poster 2: Get lost you Matt Moore lover.

Maybe it's not that extreme but it's pretty comical sometimes.

Shocking news!!!!! A QB needs talent around him and time to develope!

P.S. Year two will also be full of ups and downs......qb still developing.

Nice read. Good to hear the pros opinions. The biggest thing I learned though was that the majority of PBP readers are effing morons.

This one's my favorite: "We realistically could be undefeated right now if Matt Moore had started at the beginning of the season"

Sure we could champ. Suuuure we could...

    Dead on.

I love that tannehill started this year. He's shown improvement throughout the year and thats all you can hope for.

He actually has regressed some if you ask me but still it is all apart of the process. It sure beats talking about Geno Smith and Matt Barkley.

I am tired of people blaming the cast that a Tannehill has around him. Tannehill has not one but two receivers approaching 1000 yards receiving and 3 starting caliber runningbacks. Simply put; the guy is not good enough and he is the restraint on offense. If either of the other two quarterbacks get a shot at the helm, everyone will immediately see my point!"

This has got to be the most ass backwards argument against Tannehill.

and I'd love to know what 3 rb's this guy is talking about.
