Well, the only reason I root for the Dolphins is that I'm from Miami. Lord knows there is no way I would root for this pathetic organization and the choke artists it puts on the field each and every year if that wasn't the case. So I can't say I'd still pull for the team if it got moved to LA.
Me say come, Mister Fisher man, show me da contract

An' it's six mil, seven mil, eight mil bunch

I don't know what I'd do. I'm from SW Florida and the Dolphins are quite close to my heart. I've lived in Jacksonville and my dad was born there so the Jags are a possibility I guess. But they'll probably be in England soon. I currently live in SE Louisiana so I guess the Saints would be a possibility but I really couldn't imagine that.

    I couldn't root for a California team.

I'm a Florida Cracker so rooting for a Florida team would be ideal. Let's hope we never have to make that decision!!

Not happening, but theoretically... Dolphins don't exist outside of Miami and never will. Out of towners seem to enjoy trying to dissociate the team from the city, but it can't be done. If Ross wants a new team somewhere else he can go for it, but name and history stay with the city. I wouldn't root for anyone else and I'd wait around until the Miami Dolphins are back.

I'm a fan of the MIAMI Dolphins. If they moved (LA?

Anybody whining about Miami that thinks LA would be a better market has zero clue about the LA market), I'd probably take a break from the NFL like I have the NBA. Unlike the NBA, I'd likely come back to watching the NFL. Probably the Saints, just because I plan on moving there. I'd also be a huge fan of any team playing against the new team.

I'd then root for Tampa Bay and Jacksonville.

We're not doing good because the ownership and the front office has been making bad decisions for well over 10 years, a constant turnover of coaches and players.

When we start drafting better players and really start winning games all that will change.

I'm a Miami Dolphins fan ONLY. No Dolphins, no NFL for me. Most everyone around here is an Eagles fan, but I chose to root for Miami back around 1970, and that was that. I never did understand the "you gotta root for the home team" mentality. Everyone is free to root for whichever team they choose.
