well since jason cole has been ripped by pretty much everyone on this board as a know-nothing clown, i feel a lot better now in my assessment that Ireland deserves to go asap

My feeling is that up until last year, he drafted for the player philosophy of parcells and sparano. This year he drafted to the vision laid out to him by philbin. Irelands feeling after the draft was that he hit a homerun. Whether that's true or not remains to be seen- but it really looks like this years draft was pretty solid. The downside was his free agency was just terrible. I feel good about him going into next years draft- but i shudder at the thought of what he'll do with the 50 million projected in cap space for free agency.

we fire ireland who takes over?i am one that is for change and it just may be the right time to bring in a GM who will do what it takes to get talent around our franchise QB.not sure is ireland will go to far from what he has been taught by BP build from the trenches out.im not saying ignore the trenches im saying we dont always have to spend a first or second round on a player on the line.LONG,ODRICK,POUNCEY,MARTIN ,MERLING and im sure there are a few more tht i did not remember.

lol, now you are accusing the OP of being a pro-Ireland person just because they posted the news? Would you prefer no one posts news/reports/opinions like this because it is not "good news" in your opinion? Like I said, I really don't care if Ireland is back or not, but I also prefer not to live my life with my head in the sand. There is absolutely no reason to bash FinHeaven members or make accusations just because they posted an article or news story about the Dolphins on this forum that you don't like. If you wish to live with your head in the sand, I recommend you don't open these type of threads. Chances are, more like this will be coming up over the next few weeks.
