Everyone knew Tannehill was raw and would need time to develop

Can we please let the kid develop and hopefully add some talent on this team around him. How often is someone wide open? He has to be extremely accurate. He has shown some real promise. The success of luck, griffin and Wilson I think is making some of you guys forget that tannehill would need time to develop. It was assumed that he would sit behind moore or garrard his first year and mostly everyone seemed to be ok with that although most wanted him to start.
Now that he's starting instead of learning from the sideline people want to rush the development.

Our whole offense is not good. The running game gets like 2ypc. Can't run screens. Predictable crap. Two false starts in a row yesterday. Martin getting pushed on his ass. Its just been a tough year on offense in general.

All 3 rookie qbs succeeding right now were all known to be more NFL ready than Ryan tannehill. The only thing that hurt Wilson in the draft was his height. Can we please stop this week to week emotional rollercoaster. Everyone knew there would be a tough year with a rookie qb and rookie head coach but for some reason some people seem to have raised their expectations quite a bit from the start of the season.

I am not writing him off at this point, but I am not seeing the consistent progress I had hoped for from him as yet. It will be interesting to see how he does against the Jags.

I dont know about you, but I saw 1 very good deep pass thrown to Marlon Moore yesterday bounce off of his hands. I saw another 20-30 yard pass go Marlon Moore's way that wasnt perfect but also hit him in the hands. I saw 2 balls bounce of of Bess's hands (unusual but it happened). I also saw Tannehill throw a ball into the endzone at the end of the game with single coverage to Hartline and watched him fall down and not even jump for the ball (something a normal number 1 receiver would do with single coverage). I saw Bess, Hartline, and Mathews repeatedly having NOOOO separation from their defenders. What is the common trend here? I think it is pretty obvious.

Good post! Luck, Griffin, Wilson, Weeden and Foles have all had a significant amount of starts compared to RT. Funny how nobody mentions that.

He will have his time and chance to develope. I was hoping to see some progress during the season which i don't. I agree we need more talent on offense, the only thing i have real problem with right now is his lack of accuracy. These guys throw thousands of balls a year, and thats not something that is easily taught, you either have is or you don't. Just ask all the pitchers in the minor leagues who can throw 90 plus mph but can't hit locations.

This team sucks....We didn't have a Qb, (hopefully RT is the one) we have no weapons on offense, holes in the OL with no depth and there are holes in the defense (secondary, and second pass rusher, no depth at LB) WTF have we been doing the past few decades that the cupboard is so freakin' bare?!?!

So people just don't watch the games I guess. Some people were saying that Tanny missed a WODE OPEN Bess going ijnto the end zone. He was NOT wide open. He was barely in front of the defender but he was pretty much covered and the problem is that Bess is too short. Tanny would need to trow a rainbow of a pass in order to hit Bess in a deep pattern unless Bess is 5 yards in front of the defender which he was not. Tanny also had a nice pass into the right corner of the end zone but the DB made a nice plays on the ball but that pass was right on target. The Moore pass should have been a completion. People can complain all they want but I'm sure the coaches can see the real problem is the lack of playmakers on the team. Tannehill didn't really play that bad. Even made some nice plays with his legs. Even the announcers were talking about how none of our guys were getting any separation. It's hard to complete passes that way. He also had no INT's which is hard to do cause again, every pass has to be almost perfect since the guys are not getting open.

Tannehill needs to be better, but it really is depressing that he has to try to win with what he has to work with. An anemic running game, marginal pass protection, and what could be the worst group of receiving weapons in the NFL.

We'll see what happens in the offseason. I don't trust Jeff Ireland one bit to improve the offense, but we'll see.
Me say come, Mister Fisher man, show me da contract
Daylight come and Jake Long go home

An' it's six mil, seven mil, eight mil bunch
