Not that it has anything to do with this rigged "test", but I don't think it should be legal for people to drive while impaired, and I personally consider THC to be impairing. As is being drunk. And talking or texting on a cell phone, for that matter. I seem to recall a Mythbusters episode where they did a driving test while legally drunk and also while talking on a cell phone, and the results were the same. Which makes perfect sense, at least to me.

The key is the impairment, not the substance or the circumstance, imo.

In all seriousness, I agree. Unfortunately I had to become a parent to see that I don't have the right to not be 100% coherent behind the wheel. Especially since my driving can affect someone else's loved ones.

It's not impairing for me, but I do agree. While it's not impairing for me, it can be to people without prodigious tolerance.

The method they proposed using to test for it though is not a good one, 5 nanograms of THC is way too low. Like you saw, there were two people in that group that were higher than 5 nanograms & they hadn't even smoked that day. Those levels can also vary depending on certain factors like body size & things like that. It will be a difficult task to come up with an efficient & accurate way of detecting if people are medicated or not.

The only thing it does is make you go a little bit slower... Also thats because most people are paranoid. If it was legal then people wouldnt be paranoid.

Is this a joke? Cocaine isn't legal and paranoid is the last word I would use to describe that high.

What this individual Fox News affiliate did is awful. Has "Fox News" responded to this? The response of the "Fox News Channel" will help determine their credibility.
