Having two QBs go ahead of us would be a big boost and help some guys fall down the board.

You figure Star Lotulelei is going to go above us. Probably Bjoern Werner and Manti Te'o. Probably Luke Joeckel. After that, it's really anyone's guess. If two QBs do go above us that would leave Matt Elam, Phillip Thomas, Dee Milliner, Jarvis Jones, Anthony Barr, Tyler Eifert and Giovanni Bernard shaking around the pot, with at least two of those guaranteed to be available.

CK would you want Bernard in the first or just pointing out some talent that would be sitting there? Just can't see us going RB in the first.

Of who you have listed I'd like Effiert, Milliner, Allen or Patternson. Maybe Jones,
    Let's go Miami!!!!

no i would not take teo i've got a mike backer for the next few years and an expensive one at that...a good one too...and that said i think personally i can get almost the same level pro player in arthur brown a little later... only real difference i see in teos game is he's stouter than arthur brown at the poa...but browns a nice looking mike backer for a 43 and i think very underrated...
hoops scoops...prospects mia should target top 4 rounds 2013 draft...

i think the smart play is either de pass rusher or wr with the top pick...regardless of if we add a high end wr in free agency...i think i can get my corner with that high 2nd rounder a trufant a hawthorne someone like that i think if you wait too long at corner the position will be picked clean...it will with pass rushers also but my goal would be to land my corner in the top 50 if i can...i would get nervous if i had to wait til the end of round 2 pretty much to pull the trigger...

i think you can find a wr you like late in round 2 if you decided to go pass rusher with that top pick...especially if you acquire a high end free agent one this offseason...but the position needs to be rebuilt...looks like the depth at wr has some quality though in this draft...

pass rushers and corners are gonna fly off the board...don't get caught sleeping

Re: NFL draft order week 14

id love to see us take the best wr avaliable and sign a big name wr for him to learn from. Then go CB/DE in roubd 2. Jennnings Allen/Hunter Hartline Bess and Swope would give us a top notch wr corp for the next 5 years. It wont happen but I can dream.

I think it has to be pass rusher in the first. can't wait on that. I'd like a pass rusher, than a WR at 2a, and 2b target hawthorne. I would be drunk by the 1st pick of round three and I mean puking drunk call into work sick monday drunk, if we went that route with our first three picks.

i agree wholeheartedly. Pass rusher in the first is almost a most because of the high end talent. Especially if we pick up a vet wr. The corner class can get pretty shallow after the first 50 picks but if some stud receiver like Bailey is staring us in the face I think I pass on cb. We will see. Would love to have Keenan Allen on our squad but if we get a nice passrusher across from Wake our secondary looks better instantly. Is there much for pass rush specialists in this draft like Bruce Irvin? That would another nice player to have picked up.

i think if miami came away with mingo lets say marcus trufant and marquess wilson with it's top 3 picks that would be a heck of a top of the draft...i'm completely ok with the possibility that mingo is nothing more than a situational rusher his entire career provided he gives us good pressure percentages and sack numbers on the snaps he does play...the hawks did it last year with bruce irvin and mingos tools are on that level more raw with his rush arsenal but with ideal length and measurables and i promise you nfl tackles are gonna have to respect that kids explosion and burst whenever he is on the field...if he puts on weight and becomes a 3 down de down the road in the jpp mode all the better...

trufant i like in press and off man he seems pretty heady...maybe a little shorter than i'd like but i'm thinking he's gonna show well at the senior bowl and so i don't t know that he gets out of the top 50...i don't wait on corner i pull the trigger on my highest guy...wilsons got some off the field issues which will hurt his stock but i like the size and he's silky smooth...he can get on top of dbs also...it's either that or i jump on steadman bailey at the top of the 3rd...wilsons got more upside bt baileys got beautiful feet and deceptive quickness and speed and gets on top of dbs also before they know it...i might throw marcus wheaton in here also that kid can separate...quinton patton also falls somewhere in the 2nd round i'd say

Hoops, did i see awhile back you liked hawthorne as well, or was that slim or somebody.

I was thinking a werner or mingo in the first and a hopkins, hawthorne second round. Do you think thats feasible?
