I don't know why you guys are making light of this comment. There is some truth here. I realize most of you are atheist, but I believe in a higher power. This stuff never happened 50 years ago and it happes all the time now. Most of the people who commit these crimes (young white males), have no moral structure in their lives.Religion provides a moral road map (for most people) and we have lost that with the lack of religion in our public institutions. You can make all the jokes you want (I think it's sad), but you can't deny that religion is lacking in thr people who do this.

I dont see why praying or bringing a bible to school is such a bad thing now. When prayers were allowed in school these things never happened back in the day. The Nation is slowly putting God to the side and is slowly rottening with violence. I wont say it correlates, but you didnt hear about these stuff 20 or 30 years ago. Im not to religious, but i do believe in God

Religion has been one of the top excuses for violence in human history. Most religions teach that theirs is the only way and to convert non-believers. "Convert" is usually translated as "destroy".

You might not have heard about shootings 20 years ago, but its not because it never happened. This myth that violence is new is simply that: a myth.

The concept of America shoving God aside is especially laughable. A Catholic couldnt get elected President until JFK held a announcement assuring voters he wouldnt take directions from the Pope. Many Catholics were still frightened of a Catholic President.

Charles Whitman killed 15 people from a tower at the University of Texas in 1966. Andrew Kehoe bombed a Michigan elementary school in 1927, killing 38 children, as well as teachers, other adults and himself. We've had plenty of these rampage killers throughout the years. These were the first two I found who had attacked schools, a search which took all of five seconds.

Both men were Roman Catholics, by the way. Which brings me to this Failboat:
