All I'm going to say is that they better bring guns of their own. Maybe the city should bring in some non-city law enforcement as well, someone with no ties to the city. This one could get ugly...

The Westboro Baptist Church in Topeka, Kansas was hacked on Sunday and private information about many of the Westboro Baptist Church members has been taken by a source called “Anonymous” which is referred to as a hacking collective.

The latest controversy surrounding the church - which is most infamously known for its protests at military funerals throughout the United States - involves the church members’ plan to protest at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut during President Barack Obama’s Sunday visit to the town.

Regarding the hacking and threats from Anonymous which are meant for the members of the church, a video by KY Anonymous says:

"We will not allow you to corrupt the minds of America with your seeds of hatred. We will not allow you to inspire aggression to the social factions which you deem inferior. We will render you obsolete. We will destroy you. We are coming."

Beyond the threat, some church members’ private information has been compromised including home addresses, email addresses, and phone numbers.

I am a devout Christian and I am appalled by these idiots. I don't hate them because Christ said not to, however, they make it very difficult. Aside from that, they are pushing people away from God in droves...what exactly are they trying to accomplish?

They just like the attention. If they were serious about spreading their religion, they wouldn't make it a point to piss off everyone...

I've read stories about these people having their tires slashed and then none of the local shops helping them and one of them also being left unconscious and bloodied in an alley after one of them ran his mouth too much in a gas station convenience store. This is a great opportunity, IMO. I would like to see some serious damage done to these people.
