Bill Arnsparger was added to the honour roll today. Surprised this hasn't been mentioned yet. It was well before my time but I have heard he was one of the best defensive coaches in the history of the game. A great ex Dolphin more than worthy of this reward

This was the best defensive coordinator the Dolphins have ever had. He built the famous no-name defense that resulted in the only undefeated season in the modern NFL and won two super bowls...He also returned to build the Killer Bs defense in the late70s/early 80s. Shula loved this guy. He getting elected to the ring of honor is looong overdue.
Congrats to Bill. If he would have stayed instead of going to LSU, I think we may have won a couple of SBs with Marino.

...and the reason we didn't win a 3rd straight Super Bowl in '74 was mainly due to the defensive drop-off after Arnsparger's departure to the Giants

Honestly I thought he was already there. We have not been to a super bowl without Arnsparger as our DC...that's how much he's meant to this franchise.

Czonka, Kick, and Warfield going to the WFL.
Disagree...all three were past their prime by 1975, and we brought in sufficient players to take up much of the the offensive slack...Nat Moore, Benny Malone, Norm Bulaich, Freddie Soloman...the reason we didn't contend was the drop off in the defense.
