Impending free agent Greg Jennings' "educated guess" is that he won't be back with the Packers in 2013.

"If it was just my decision, my decision only, absolutely I would be here in a heartbeat," Jennings said. "Wouldn't want to leave at all, but obviously it's two sides, so the Packers are gonna do what's best for them and hopefully I'm what's best. But, if not, then I have 31 other teams that hopefully I can show them my résumé and then walk into the door and start back over."

Impending free agent Greg Jennings said he doesn't want to return to the Packers under the franchise tag.

Jennings will turn 30 in September and is looking for one last long-term deal. The franchise tag is a one-year tender. "Will I be here? That's totally up to the Packers," he said. Jennings and the Packers have not had any contract extension talks yet. It's very possible they'll play hardball and end up with Jordy Nelson, James Jones and Randall Cobb as their top-three wideouts in 2013.

    Go get him.

4 year deal, cut him after year 3.

However, he does not have to sign the tag contract. Does us no good either, and I see this happening because he is not going to get that kind of money from them in a long term deal.

I don't see Jennings here, with age and injuries. I don't see Wallace as being a good fit in Philbin's O. I see Bowe or the draft.

we need a combination of a big body WR and a nice smaller compact WR that can run the WC offense. So if we sign jennings then draft either justin hunter or keenan allen. Tannehill needs a nice big 6'3 WR for the redzone. Next season go in with this WR CORE:

    Greg Jennings
    Brian Hartline
    Keenan Allen
    Devon Bess
    Armon Binns/moore/matthews

I think the Packers have seen what life is like without Jennings this season and while he has great chemistry with Rodgers they seemed to do fairly well without him. James Jones really raised his game up this year in the absence of Jennings and Jordy Nelson. Given that I don't see the Packers tagging Jennings...they'll try to re-sign him with a fair contract but they're not going to break the bank. He won't get a $10 million+ per season offer from them. His salary now averaged $6.7 million and he making just under $4 million this season...if they offered him a 4 year $24 million contract I bet he'd re-sign with them.

I think it was a foregone conclusion that this guy was done in GB after this year.
