For Our CFL Canadian Fans - I Have A Sanchez Question

Haven't watched too much of that league nor understand its nuances other than that outside of late bloomers like Cam Wake or diamonds in the rough like Thigpen, it's essentially the Ted Mack Amateur Hour compared to the NFL's talent. (just stating that factually, not derisively).

My question: given Mark Sanchez's, mobility, impaired decision-making, lacklustre arm strength, the wider field to maybe help with his inaccuracy, etc., in your opinion could he start for a team in the CFL - or hell, even be the #1 back-up? Or for all practical purposes, is that option off the board too?

In before Junc claims Sanchez will unseat Aaron Rodgers next year making this a moot question.

    1) Win the next game.
    2) See goal #1

More like Kenny Rogers as the jest apparently now know "when to hold 'em and (now) know when to fold 'em.

He couldn't start for Morehead State at the present time. His confidence and trust in himself is gone. He'll be out of the league in a couple of years.

    Dear Vk

Quite simply "no" - Mark cannot make the sideline throw the field is wider and he would have to account for an extra defender. In the CFL everyone is accustomed to the passing game setting up the running game and he needs the play action pass more than any signal caller, I can remember. While the rules are slanted for the Offense, the lack of an extra down means that QBs need to be that precise. Also, The Defenders in the CFL are lightning quick Tweeners who are pure athletes. The athletes in the CFL are amazing the windows aren't large, and he can't hit the broad side of a barn. The defenders would love his errant passes. the Blitz is also common and he folds like a deck of cards. Tebow would be equally as bad in the CFL. He could probably be an HB which is what he should have concentrated on out of college - just my two cents

I can pile on the league for two good reasons

    1. HORRIBLE officiating - it is painful to watch
    2. Too many Canadians - who only have a job because the league rules stipulate a certain ratio of CDNs on each team. This means that the team with the best set of CDNs and depth CNs usually wins
