I think the guy is awesome, as I have said before I am not interested in biased information, or information put out to fit an agenda.
Because that is almost all the info that there is out there, I had no idea that over the passed 20 years when so many more gun owners and CCW's out there that our violent crime rate, and murder rate has been cut in half.
I also had no idea England had a 3.5 times the violent crime rate of the US, this stat does not fit their agenda, only the murder rate, which in the US is all in isolated pockets where gang members kill each other for sport.

Interesting video. I think much of the information presented has been widely disseminated (crime rates down, more crime in cities, rifles rarely used in violent crime, etc). I'm not sure why he thought the USA have 6x as many large urban areas was a factor when comparing crime rates. His solution of stopping crime by "improving the poverty level", creating jobs and improving education is a bit idealistic. Those things would help but would only be marginally effective as crime is as much a culture and mentality as it is about poverty, unemployment and poor education.

I actually heard a guy on CNN refer to guns as WMD's. It's getting insane out there.

Mostly drugs. If we changed our drug laws you would see less gun violence than any bill this government craps out. This guy is good.

Granted gun violence is really low in the UK but you're 3.5 times more likely to be a victim of a violent crime in the UK. Add the fact that the UK is pretty much a police state with cameras watching your every move. So even with all that they still have a lot more violent crimes than we do. And more important victims of those crimes. Doesn't sound like a good trade off to me. Once again Franklin was right. "Give up liberty for safety AND YOU LOSE BOTH!!!!".
I like to "chew" on other things! Oh and diving, I love to dive into things!
