With no hate, I really never understood the Jets thinking that this guy would be a good OC. I met him once (we were both visiting people in a hospital). I approached him and he seemed like a good guy. It was the week after we surprised the Patriots with the Wildcat.

I don't take much joy in Sparano's demise. He is what he is. I still wish him the best. The NFL is a rough business.
Someone who sucked at their job, despite making millions of dollars while destroying our team with his inability to coach, is getting fired and we can't make some jokes at his expense? I don't feel one iota of sadness seeing Sparano fired from his job. You make big money for big results, ones that he couldn't produce. Off the high horse people!

Tony Sparano has made more money in the last 5 years for terrible performance at his job than most of us will make in a lifetime even if we performed well at our jobs. I will continue to laugh for years at this fist pumping clown. I will follow his career all the way to the college ranks and laugh whenever he fails. Im going to make jokes at his expense.
People in this thread acting like one of his kids got sick or something and we were mocking him. That would be well across the line of human decency.
