its only first year so we still have alot to see from all, vernon showed flashes, matthews didnt get a chance to show much but did decent in his time, i think miller could've put thomas on back burner had he had an earlier chance, martin played good in his time i might even cause us to save 11 million by letting long walk, but the best pick was tanne, i know he is only a lil above 3000 and is 12-12 td/int. but weve been wanting to draft our franchise qb for years. so if he is our franchise qb then this is the best pic of our draft in a longgg time. repost next year considering we know how well the 2011 draft faired this year compared to last

What third rd wr should we have taken?
I was screaming for TY Hilton and Jeff liked him enough to ask the Colts to send him over in the Vontae trade. We passed on him for Michael Egnew. Considering that Hilton played college ball at FIU -- right here in South Florida -- and is a very explosive player, it is downright criminal that we decided not to draft him. He was willing to trade up for Lamar Miller but wouldn't spring for Hilton in the third round -- with either of the picks we had in that round?

Hilton's stats this season with Indy:

    46 rec 750 yards (16.3 avg), 6 TDs.

Miami's wide receivers have combined for half that many touchdowns all year. Oh, and he is a bigtime deep threat, the exact thing this offense is completely lacking.
Me say come, Mister Fisher man, show me da contract
Daylight come and Jake Long go home

An' it's six mil, seven mil, eight mil bunch
Daylight come and Jake Long go home

Jonathan Martin was key for us from day one.

stop comparing systems and players, Hilton is doing ok but there is no way you're going to say he would be just as successful in Miami, give philbin another draft to add to this team, remember the fins lost 4 games by 3 points.

System or not Hilton is a good receiver and is damn sure a better player than Michael Egnew

I'm all for drafting BPA and not for need.. News flash dlockz.. If you have 7 needs but 5 draft picks no matter how you draft you will still have some holes. My question to you is what did we need this past of season?

    1. Qb Tannehill looks good so far
    2. Tackle Martin has played well.. Colombo was a scrub
    3. TE the jury is still out on egnew but ill admit it not looking good (subject to change)
    3. DE Vernon has a had a successful season in my book.. Dude plays part time but has made some impact plays for us. Blocked Fgs, a few sacks, fumble td recoveries.. Compare him to the other DEs drafted this year he ranks near the top good value pick . Just ask the jets with their first rounder..
    4. RB Miller not really a need but he was dropping to far we had to take him ala reshad jones a few years back
    5. LB Kaddu I'm not too familiar with what he's done this year besides play special teams
6.WR Matthews has looked ok but he's a 7th rounder we didn't draft a WR till late I think because of how the board fell..

Miller has a chance to be a steel for a 4rth round HB. Martin is definitely the best draft pick behind RT.

How many routes doe Hilton run again?

Givens would have been an ideal candidate for our offense though
