If this is the new logo the helmet should be a matt white with no helmet stripes. I mocked (very crudely!) an all-white Longhorns helmet with the new logo overlayed and think it look fantastic. Keep it simple modern and sleek and it will look real good.

I clicked Hate It, even though I don't... I have a specific complaint... it MUST have a design addition that gives itr an eye... it is off-balance, and creepy, because of this exclusion... just a small black line and I could grow to appreciate it much more... if it has no eye added it needs to be killed with fire...

If the original logo had a tail flipped up since the 60s, would anyone still be calling it effeminate or "homosexual" today? I really don't think so... Face it, the original logo was just as "pansy" at the time. I mean, its an aqua dolphin with a helmet jumping through the sun for chrissakes! Nothing TOUGH about that... To top it off, it looked like a kid's drawing... The only reason people don't consider it "pansy" today was because it represented numerous TOUGH individuals over the years.
Fact is, tough ol' Larry Csonka was running around with a pansy dolphin on his head all those years. The position of the tail does nothing to make the dolphin more or less pansy. The outcry is nothing more than a result of hanging on to the "tradition" of a turned down tail. When you look at it this way, the outcry is rather ridiculous...

That Dolphin logo being leaked just looks so damn feminine.
Why the constant wanting to change the logo? I'm just at a loss. I grew up liking the Miami Dolphins....their mascot, logo, team, colors, stadium, players, coaches, owner etc. If we start changing things, when does it stop? Since it seems like a lot of the fans want the logo changed, lets change the colors too. I'm sure that will help the team look "tougher". Well I doubt that will work, so let's change the mascot. Dolphins aren't tough at all. Gee, since we're changing the logo, colors, mascot, we might as well change the location too. Miami isn't as tough as Pittsburgh, Green Bay, Dallas or New York.
Leave the damn thing alone or go back to the '70s or '80s style (my choice).

I dont hate it but I think it could have been better. The one thing I'm disappointed about is that they didnt get rid of that damn navy color. This would have been the perfect opportunity to finally 86 the navy once and for all and they didn't do it. I was hoping they would either add a color like silver or just go back to the old color scheme of light aqua and orange with no traces of navy in it whatsoever. Seriously though, I dont know a single person that likes the navy, and everyone I talk to, whether it be on message boards or in real life wants to get rid of it. Are Mike Dee and co. so dense that they dont listen to the fanbase?
