Looks like the title of Congresswoman isn't the only thing shes working hard for. Please note the bill she proposes does not stop at "assault rifles" but also includes handguns and shotguns. Not to mention a nice little registration process for people that currently have guns.

I wonder how many criminals will be persuaded to stop, register properly with the authorities and walk away from crime?

Pretty much every gun I own. Classic Washington....Give up liberty for safety and you lose both. This won't do a damn thing to stop crazy people and criminals from killing. While taking away guns from law-abiding citizens. Total crock of ****.

Bu..bu...but they are there to protect our interests D. Can't you see?
Even though they are by us, of us and for us, they know better than us. If even one atrocity is stopped by this bill, then it will be worth it. Never mind the millions of rights you have to trample on to get there......and maybe then, you'll understand, that by surrenedering a few more rights, we can end obesity, which contributes to the healthcare problems.
We can impede interstate travel, and curtail auto deaths. And best of all, we can lay down all our rights and let the Government take care of everything, because they can produce a society for us where nobody is murdered, everyones cholesterol is in check because there will be no bad food for us, and they can stay in power forever, to take care of us...just the way the Founding Fathers imagined it.

What? The Founding Fathers didnt want it that way? Aw, well, that old documents more than 200 years old...times have changed. We have different priorities now. Get with the system man........

Ya know...me and some friends built one when we were younger.....some PVC tubing, cardboard toilet paper roll, flash powder and gun powder and a few sundries.......science can be fun.

Does this mean i'll have to register my mind, since i didnt actually buy one but built one?
