Well in a way that’s correct but in a way it’s also not, all that “Plan B” contraception pills are is regular contraception given at a higher dose after sexual intercourse. The regular contraception takes a three prong approach, preventing ovulation, preventing conception, and preventing implantation. When regular contraception is taken on a regular basis the first two prongs of the attack are nearly 100 percent effective and the 3rd prong of attack is rarely (if ever) used. However, after sexual intercourse since pregnancy almost always occurs within the first five days after relations the first two prongs of attack do not have enough time to kick in because they can take over a week to do so, so then the third prong of attack is almost always what happens and therefore implantation is prevented resulting in the death of the fertilized egg. This is still the accepted viewpoint of the FDA and printed on any literature distributed with “Plan B” contraception at your local pharmacy. This is precisely why many retail pharmacists will not carry emergency contraception, they object to its use on ethical grounds.

Well it’s actually the Christians who are taking the scientific approach to this issue; the accepted position of the FDA and of all distributed literature with the “Plan B” pill is that it does prevent implantation; so you are trying to use fringe scientific ideas to argue against the currently accepted theory. The “push” to change the current theory is very similar to the redefining of pregnancy we saw a few years ago, it is done solely for political purposes and not for anything scientific.
